<p><strong>It’s All About Riesling</strong></p>
<p>Pure enthusiasm for mosel riesling drove young swiss daniel vollenweider to found his own winegrowing estate back in 2000. with virtually no money, but an overboarding passion instead, he revived 2.5 acres of nearly forgotten vineyards in the »wolfer goldgrube«. today, the estate covers approx. 9.8 acres, mostly classified as »steillage« or »steilstlage« (steep respectively extremely steep vineyards). much of this land has not undergone any land consolidation, so the estate is in charge of a high percentage of very old, ungrafted riesling vines.</p>

<p>Based in the once world famous wine trading town of traben-trarbach, the estate is now among the best rewarded in the mosel region.</p>
